Convert369 is operated by M/S GoTradly Technologies (founded by Prathviraj, accessible at gotradly.com). The platform is built around one simple idea: your files are yours. This page explains, in plain language, what happens to your data when you use this site, what we collect, and what we never see.

The short version

Every conversion, calculation, and file operation on Convert369 runs entirely inside your own browser using JavaScript. When you upload a CSV, an Excel file, a ZIP archive, or paste text into any tool, that file is processed on your device and never leaves it. We don't have a server that receives your files, so we can't read them, store them, or lose them in a breach, because we never had them in the first place.

Information we don't collect

We do not collect, upload, or store the contents of any file or text you convert, compress, format, or compare using our tools. This includes CSV data, JSON payloads, Excel sheets, XML documents, ZIP contents, and any text pasted into an input box. All of it stays on your device.

Information stored in your browser

To make the site more convenient, a few small preferences are saved locally in your browser using localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not sent to us:

• Favorite tools, so your starred tools show up in the navigation menu.
• Recently used tools, so you can quickly get back to what you were working on.
• Theme preference (light or dark mode).

You can clear this at any time by clearing your browser's site data for Convert369.

Server and hosting logs

Like virtually every website, our hosting provider automatically logs basic technical information for security and performance purposes, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and the pages you request. We use this only in aggregate to understand traffic and keep the site running, not to identify individual visitors.

Analytics, and the choice you are given

Convert369 uses Google Analytics to count which converters get used. It is off until you turn it on. The banner you see on your first visit is not decorative: if you decline it, or simply never answer it, the Google Analytics script is never requested and no analytics cookies are set. Nothing is loaded in the background while you decide.

If you do allow it, Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_<id> to tell repeat visits apart, and records which pages you open, your approximate location from your IP address, and your browser and device type. It does not receive any file you convert, because your files never leave your browser at all.

You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer. Turning analytics off also deletes the analytics cookies already stored on your device.

Advertising and Consent

Convert369 is designed to respect your privacy. Advertising scripts from Google AdSense are strictly gated behind visitor choice using Google Consent Mode v2. If you decline advertising consent, or do not interact with the consent choice, advertising scripts are never loaded and no advertising cookies are set.

If you explicitly grant advertising consent, Google AdSense may load to display advertisements. You can view or change your preferences at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer. You can also manage personalized advertising preferences at Google Ads Settings or www.aboutads.info.

Personal data, and how long anything is kept

We do not ask for your name, email address, or any account details, because there are no accounts. The only personal data that exists at all is what your browser sends to any website it visits: your IP address and user agent, in the hosting logs described above, and the analytics data listed above if you allowed it.

Hosting logs are retained by our hosting provider on their own schedule, typically a matter of days, and are used only in aggregate. Google Analytics data, if you allowed it, is retained by Google under their retention settings, currently 14 months from your last visit. Anything stored in your own browser, such as your theme choice and your starred converters, stays on your device until you clear it and is never transmitted anywhere.

Your rights

If you are in the EU, UK, or another region with similar law, you have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data held about you, to object to or restrict its processing, to withdraw consent at any time, and to complain to your local data protection authority.

In practice most of this is immediate and in your hands: withdrawing consent is the Cookie Settings link in the footer, and deleting everything stored about you locally is clearing this site's data in your browser settings. For anything held by our hosting provider or by Google, write to us via the Contact page and we will help you make the request.

Third-party services

All core tool assets, styles, scripts, and fonts are self-hosted directly from our domain. Unlike sites that load external typefaces from Google Fonts, our fonts are served locally, meaning your browser does not contact Google Fonts servers during page visits. Third-party network requests (such as Google Analytics or Google AdSense) occur only when you explicitly grant the corresponding category in our consent banner.

Children's privacy

Convert369 is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as the site evolves. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "last updated" date.
